i discovered programming early in middle school, and immediately knew i wanted to do this in college and beyond. my first program was actually a Zork-like text adventure game in python.

with this in mind, i went to attend the University of British Columbia, where i enrolled in general engineering, and was accepted into the computer engineering program as a sophomore.

i was able to land a red hat internship in my fourth year, where i worked with a great team working on developing a monitoring and profiling solution for java-based containerized applications, called Cryostat.

i was able to come back to red hat after my graduation in 2024, and am currently working on Kubernetes application development and contributing to open-source projects, focusing on autoscaling technologies.
